Congratulations to Daisy Rose who won our Best One-Photo Campus Tour Contest! She won some snazzy new dorm furniture supplied by Office Depot for receiving the most votes for her fantastic photo. We caught up with Daisy to learn more about her future plans and some other fun tidbits. Check it out!

What made you choose your school?
I wanted to cheer and take my basics to first save money and focus on my GPA and resume.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
My biggest pet peeve are quitters, I don’t believe in giving up.
What is something about you that might surprise someone?
I actually wanted to be a culinary major first, cause I love to cook and I’m really good at it.
What is your favorite book, movie, or TV show and why?
The Movie, Selena, when I watch her I want to push as far as I can and just go big in life.
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
Rome, Italy would be my first place to go because I want to learn skills from their top chefs and to see the beauty of that town.
If you had a million dollars, how would you spend it?
First I would give a quarter of that money to breast cancer – it is very important what they have done for my family. I would then donate another quarter to the closest adoption agency because they have been doing a lot for my family. Another quarter would be giving to my mother’s side of the family because since I was little they have helped me so much by fundraising, attending my performances, and just being a part of my life, this is seven different family. With the last quarter I would pay for my school and start a college fund for my sister so she did not have to worry. Whatever is left over will go straight to my parents because without them I would have nothing.
What are your plans for after graduation?
I plan to go as far as I can in my education. Once I graduate with my Associates I will move on to my Bachelor’s and it I could get my Master’s. I will then look everywhere to find the job of my dreams or at least a job that will get my foot in the door.
